Privacy policy
This policy explains what information Fire Line Metal Works ("we," "us") collects through firelinemetalworks.com, what we do with it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
What we collect
What you send us. When you use the contact form or the donation request form we collect your name, phone number, email address if you give one, your organization if you name one, what you pick from the list, your message, and any file you attach. When you use the order form we collect the order details you enter. When you call, text, or email us, we have whatever you share.
What is collected automatically. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. It collects things like the pages you view, how you got here, the type of device and browser you use, your general location (city or region), and an approximate IP address. It uses cookies or similar identifiers to do this. It does not tell us your name.
How we use it
- To reply to you, quote your project, and complete your order
- To keep records of the work we do
- To see which pages are useful and improve the site
- To protect the site from spam and abuse
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use what you send us for advertising.
Services we rely on
These companies handle information for us so the site can work. Each has its own privacy policy.
- Netlify hosts the site and receives contact form and donation request submissions, including attached files.
- Typeform runs the order form.
- Google Analytics provides site statistics.
- Google Fonts delivers the fonts, which means your browser requests files from Google when a page loads.
The site also links to our Facebook page and other sites. Once you leave, their policies apply, not ours.
Cookies and your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. To opt out of Google Analytics on every site you visit, Google offers a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and order details for as long as we need them to do the work, keep business and tax records, and handle any follow-up. After that we delete them.
Your requests
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call or email us and we will take care of it within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's law.
Children
This site is for customers who are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we limit who can see what you send. No website can promise perfect security, so please do not send sensitive information like card numbers through the contact form.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
